Rothwell a favourite player; a good kinda mix between Klich and Rutter. His fast raids up the field when he, intelligently, spots an opening make a difference. And that corner-kickā¦
I was fkn worried about the first 15mins and thought we weren't up for it, couldn't get any possession and that half our players were knackered....I kept saying to the boy that they'll nick one from a set piece but we defended them really well. Still only takes a few good balls in and teams will score though!
Tanaka was quality and only played round the other side of the world 50 hours ago!!
If only Meslier hadn't fkd up v Blunderland we'd have been clear at the top. Credit to him on a clean sheet although didn't have to dive all game. Still don't like how he pisses around with strikers closing him down and can't believe they get virtually on top of him without sliding in at the end!!
Look forward to the other teams round us dropping points tomorrow....
Very solid performance and against a strong & physical side.
Thank you Pascal!
Rothwell was simply outstanding, the guy was everywhere and much more of a player than I ever expected. Tanaka covered a lot and the pair of them dominated midfield.
Aaronson, Gnonto and the little Belgian also did well. Special mention for Bogle who was well up for it.
Several of players looked knackered towards the end, so we could do with having some new midfielders on the bench.
Aside from the fact that half of the team will be completely knackered, I think this will be a game changer for Meslier, either he has forgotten the balls up at Sunderland and plays a blinder, or is still carrying the scars in which case it may be the end. Pretty sure the vast majority of the fans will be right behind him.
Everybody knows that Leeds has the most players involved in international games, so why should our match, and not a random other match, be played Friday evening? Anyways, hope weāll have all players back in time, and that we will make another good performance! MOT
New mdt pending aprovel
Very good, Stevethemouse!

Well done Mouseman!

Good Luck Steve...................................MOT!

Good luck Steve. Should be a good game. Rain forecast. I like rain for a night match under the lights, adds to the atmosphere I reckon.
Quality MDT Mouseman and good luck for a prolonged run....
This is gonna be tough for a number of reasons:
Yorkshire Derby....
They're further oop table than us....
They had 2pts(?) deducted at the start of the season and would already be clear ....
We've got 38 players on international duty who will return knackered/injured on top of our lengthy injuries....
They've got Hamer after we refused to pay an extra Ā£50 for him....
With all this going against us I'm going for a positive 1-0 victory with Gnonto notching....

With half a squad missing going to be a hard game
